Dog Central – Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all retail purchases made through Dog Central (“we”, “us”, “our”), including products purchased via our website or in-store for delivery.

We aim to process and deliver orders efficiently while ensuring your items arrive safely.

2. Order Processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.

  • Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

  • During busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

3. Shipping Within New Zealand

  • We currently ship within New Zealand only.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

  • Estimated delivery timeframes:

    • North Island: 1–3 business days after dispatch

    • South Island: 2–5 business days after dispatch

Please note these timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the courier and location.

4. Click & Collect

  • Click & collect may be available from our Dog Central location.

  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

  • Orders must be collected within a reasonable timeframe unless otherwise arranged.

5. Delivery Issues

  • Once your order has been dispatched, it is the responsibility of the courier service.

  • Dog Central is not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

  • If your order is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will assist in lodging an enquiry with the courier.

6. Incorrect or Damaged Items

  • If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

  • We may request photos or further information to assess the issue.

  • Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

7. Shipping Address

  • Please ensure your shipping details are correct at the time of purchase.

  • Dog Central is not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

8. Rural Delivery

  • Rural addresses may incur additional shipping fees and longer delivery times.

  • These will be calculated at checkout where applicable.
