Dog Central – Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services and retail purchases provided by Dog Central (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services, enrolling your dog, or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Dog Health and Requirements

All dogs must: • Be in good health • Be up to date with all required vaccinations and treatments You must provide accurate and complete information about your dog, including: • Medical history • Behavioural history • Any known reactivity toward people or other dogs You agree to inform us promptly of any changes to your dog’s health or behaviour.

Behaviour and Suitability

By enrolling your dog, you confirm that your dog is suitable for a group daycare environment. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any dog that: Displays unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour Is deemed unsuitable for daycare at our discretion

Bookings and Payments

All services and retail purchases must be paid in full at or before the time they are due. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. Late payments may incur fees in accordance with our policies.

Cancellations and Attendance

Cancellations are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Key terms include: • Less than 24 hours’ notice (casual bookings): full fee charged • Less than 48 hours’ notice (recurring bookings): full fee charged • No-shows: full fee charged • Weekly package clients: one cancellation per month permitted with notice Cancellations due to genuine unforeseen or emergency circumstances may be considered at our discretion.

Health, Safety and Veterinary Care

While we take all reasonable care, you acknowledge that dogs are animals and there are inherent risks in a group environment. If your dog becomes unwell or requires urgent care, we may: • Seek veterinary treatment from the nearest available veterinarian • Attempt to contact you or your emergency contact • All veterinary costs incurred are your responsibility.

Liability and Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, Dog Central is not liable for: • Injury, illness, or death of any dog • Loss or damage to personal property You accept all risks associated with your dog attending daycare. You are responsible for any damage your dog causes to our property, staff, or other dogs. You agree to indemnify Dog Central, its owners, employees, and contractors against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your dog’s behaviour or attendance. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Photos and Media

We may take photos and videos of dogs in our care for marketing, social media, or internal purposes. Dog Central retains ownership of all such content. If you do not consent, you must notify us in writing.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, including fire or natural disaster, we will act in the best interests of all dogs in our care. This may include evacuation or relocation from the premises.

Retail Purchases

All retail goods are subject to availability. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping of retail products is subject to our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.

Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. We are not responsible for website interruptions or third-party services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time by publishing an updated version on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
